Well, my left hamstring, which has been singing to me for a couple of weeks, is now toast.
On the run last night, I ripped/injured it severely.
I'm blaming myself. I should have run by myself, at my own pace. I think I needed more time off, after my last run. During the trail marathon last Saturday, it hurt for about 1-1/2 hours, then subsided.
Now it definitely gets some time to heal.

Sorry to hear that. Time to start a new batch of 'home brew' to pass the time!
Ben that sucks. I hope you get healed up before your trip to the Northwest.
I have too many batches of homebrew, as it is, but will brew early tomorrow morning, anyway. If you're not doing anything, call me or just drop by any time past 9am.
I'm going to my alternative medicine guy tonight, to get some massage and acupuncture. I already have a support device on it.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that this will pass quickly! Let us know if any special voodoo works!!
Ouch - I sure hopem its not a serious tear! Not sure the home brew will help but I guess it will ease the pain a little.

Yikes! I don't have much else to say. Injuries suck. bad injuries suck 100 times more! But you are a smart and experienced one, you'll figure your way out.
Hope it mends quickly and the layoff doesn't drive you nuts.
