Hot Trail Run

I'm going to run on trails tonight in the oppressive heat with some of the Trail Nerds. At 8 pm tonight, the heat index is supposed to finally be below 110F. Luckily, our ground-level ozone alert level is in the yellow, instead of the red, for tonight.

    whew, now that is HOT. here in Tucson, it's been near 110 for the last few weeks; I was shocked to discover our tap water is 91 degrees.

    I've been a wus in this weather - been sticking to the treadmill in my nice cool basement. I almost had a heart attack when my car thermostat read 65 degrees this morning (in the pouring rain!) Maybe we'll have 80s temps this weekend as predicted. You guys are crazy!
